The original name of the battleship is "Sevastopol". It was laid down at the Baltic Plant on 3 June 1909. During the First World War it was part of the 1-st subdivision of the battleships. During the Civil War it took part in the defense of Petrograd. In March 1921 the anti-Bolshevik revolt began on the battleship and other ships of the Baltic Fleet, which were placed in Kronstadt. In 1929 it made a march under the command of K.I. Samoylov in the Black Sea and was included in the Black Sea Fleet, where not a single battleship had remained after the October Revolution and the Civil War. The battleship "Parizhskaya Kommuna" became a flagship of the Black Sea Fleet. During the Great Patriotic War it participated in the defense of Sevastopol and the Kerch Strait. On 8 July 1945 the ship was awarded with the Order of the Red Banner. On 24 July 1954 it was re-classified into a training ship. In 1956 it was excluded from the Navy of the USSR and given to the Bureau of Fund Property. In 1956-1957 it was disassembled at the Sevastopol Base for scrap metal. The model has plenty of details and a reverse print, its complexity level is quite high. We recommend it only to experienced modelers.
