In the summer of 1879 with the help of Russia the Bulgarian navy for patrol and custom service in the Danube and Black Sea was created. In 1812 the First Balkan War started. In November 1812 the torpedo boats "Derzky", "Smeli", "Strogi", "Letiaschi" discovered the Turkish cruiser "Hamidiye" when patrolling the shore of Varna and attacked it. The hit was succeeded by "Derzky" when it approached the ship on the distance of only 100 meters. Thereafter the torpedo boat "Derzky" participated in the First and Second World Wars and served in the navy of Bulgaria until 1955. In 1942 when standing near the pier of the port of Varna it sank in the result of explosion of the powder rooms, though in 1944 it was lifted and repaired. In the last years before the writing off from the fleet it was used as a target. The model is represented as of 1912. It has a rather particular detailed drafting, there are many small details. We would rather recommend this model for more experienced modelers.
